In 1965, Ed Scheidt decided it was time to set out on his own and started Ed's Moving and Storage, based in Tacoma, WA. Although things have changed over the years, three things remain the same: we're still in Tacoma, we're still family-owned, and we are still dedicated to a high level of quality and customer service. When you move within the state of Washington, you will receive the benefit of our knowledgable and courteous staff. If you move to another state or even out of the country, you will also be served by Atlas Van Lines, the 2nd largest national van line. We have maintained our relationship with Atlas Van Lines for over 30 years and we have been recognized for the exemplary services we provide.
